Technology has been part of my whole life – from my education, through my first lines of code, to the role of CTO. Yet knowing technology is only half the battle – what matters more today is how you use it to achieve the goals you have set.

Strategy is always my starting point – a well-structured plan of action that leads to real business goals. IT works best when it is well organised: with a clear direction, priorities and accountability.

People are the foundation of every major undertaking. Great things can only be achieved by an effective team in which everyone knows what to do, what their role is and what is expected of them.

I have put all of this to the test in practice: I have written code, designed architecture, built applications, delivered ambitious goals, built teams and achieved success.
